A Banner Day
Thanks to Carlos at work, I finally figured out how to upload a banner jpeg onto my new blogsite! The pic, for those of you who might be wondering about it, is a detail from my very fave painting, The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke by Richard Dadd, who spent most of his life inside an insane asylum after murdering his own dad. He was totally obsessed with it in a lot of his paintings–-check out the axe in this one? ;)

OOOPS! Blush. Carlos says that our new code made the site stop being dynamic, and we had to restore all the settings. Tomorrow, he'll key in the changes by hand again, if I bring him cookies. So...Trader Joes is my first stop after work tonight...
OK, Carlos cut and pasted the source code to me over AIM, and it looks pretty good, really. Don't you think? I hate these stupid comment pop-up windows though! This afternoon, I was looking at other sites here at Blogspot, and I saw one, by this SciFi writer named David Brin, that had comments that just show on the page with the post, which I thought looked really cool. So tomorrow, Carlos is gonna earn his double-chocolate cookies!
